Experienced spousal caregivers are the best resource for new spousal caregivers!

No one understands the unique challenges a well spouse faces than one who is or has undergone the caregiver journey.  Mentors must first be WSA supporting members before they can volunteer in this position.  Mentees -- persons seeking a mentor -- must also first be WSA supporting members. Support is given to mentees through one-on-one contact via email or phone.

Well Spouse in-person support groups are the preferred means of support for Well Spouse members.  They are run by WSA members who volunteer their time in this position to give back to others.  Being a group leader can be as much support for you as you are giving to the group.

If you don't have an established group in your area, consider forming one.  You will receive a leader's guide, help, and support from the Well Spouse office in getting your group off the ground and keeping it going.

Donate some volunteer time to help out in the WSA office with data entry or a variety of office duties and special projects. 

What if you are not located close to our Freehold office? That's ok! We have many projects that can be done from your home, no matter where you are located. We always need people to verify professional addresses and information for our database. search the internet for special outreach and PR projects, and even scan old Mainstays- so we can upload them to our website.  We have more things we'd like to do than we can accomplish on our own, so help is always appreciated!
