Caring from a Distance
Are you one of the 6.9 million Americans struggling to care for an aging parent or other loved one who lives in a far-away city? If you are, we are here to help.
Whether you live across-the-world or an hour away, you and your family face special challenges. Where can you find the local resources they require? How can you, family and friends communicate in an emergency? What can you do to help when you visit?

Children of Aging Parents (CAPS)
CAPS began in Levittown, Pennsylvania in 1977 when a small group of neighbors, who were caring for their elderly parents, began to share informally their problems and their feelings. They discovered they shared similar needs, concerns, and limitations. In 1980 CAPS incorporated as a nonprofit organization.

My Health Care Manager, LLC
Caregiving for a parent?
We’re here to help. We can assist you in managing the many difficult issues you’ll deal with, including:
How long can Mother stay in her home? If she has to move, which option is best?
How can we help them manage their doctors and medicines?
With Alzheimer’s advancing, can they still take care of each other?
Our Health Care Managers, all registered nurses, specialize in senior care and caregiving issues. As an independent national company, our services are unbiased and free from provider influence.
