Signing up to be a mentor

Postby Wildflower1 » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:26 pm

Have been trying to get into the "Volunteer" heading on the banner to submit info to become a mentor (young WS with IS who suffer from PTSD need mentoring). Each time it gives me a form of error message and doesn't allow. Any suggestions?

Thank you for offering to provide this valuable service, Wildflower.
I suggest you call the office and speak to Donna McQuade, who finds people mentors.

Dear Wildflower:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have corrected that web page. Now you can go there and it will pop up an Email to support(at)wellspouse.org .

It is here: http://www.wellspouse.org/volunteer/sign-up-as-a-wsa-mentor.html

I would certainly like to hear from others who have found errors in the web pages... I am not a full time web manager... if I was, I would systematically review every page, and correct errors hopefully before anyone else spotted them! Alas I must work at a paid job for a living, and so cannot devote as much time as I would like to the WSA as a volunteer.

And we all definitely appreciate all that Larry does for us as President of WSA! It shows exceptional energy and commitment to take on such a position while being an active caregiver. Thanks, Larry!

Oh my gosh, my intent was not to ignore Larry. How can we not appreciate everything he does and his sage advice in all situations. He's a saint for sure.

Thanks - but the halo does not fit well. I do what I can for all of us because it helps me too. As caregivers we All do similar things everyday. Your offer to be a mentor shows just that!
