Firefox issues

Larry, I use Firefox and am not having the issues you describe (just the old 'logging out' issues - which I realize will resolve themselves in time). Since I still can't post to this thread....

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13319

And the thread you originally posted on was about Safari and Mac, I started this thread to discuss issues specifically related to Firefox. My old link to the forum still works in Firefox, and I have no difficulty getting in the 'front door', either.

There are several of us who use Firefox here, and I have a few suggestions if anyone still needs help.

1) upgrade your browser to the latest version (3.6.13)

(before deleting anything, you may wish to make note of your password, if you've forgotten it....it's listed in "Tools", "Options", "Security", "Saved Passwords")

2) In Firefox "Tools", under "Options", click the "Privacy" tab to get to where you can delete individual cookies, and/or change your settings to delete your browsing history after every session.

I don't recall doing anything differently than I did before, but perhaps resetting the cookies is all that is needed????

I'm using Firefox right now.

Seemed like I was having problems logging out when I used the old bookmark that went straight to the forums. Deleted that bookmark and made a new one to

Gotta do the 2 step logout like I think Larry mentioned, but other than that, no problem.

I did clear all my cookies & cache. (Good thing I remembered what state my bank is in, cause the computer forgot)

I needed Richard to change my ID from the email version to 'incongruous'.
(Richard, sorry I waited till the last minute to do that. I probably added to the cluster  )

Do the members that can't get to the homepage with Firefox get an error message, or just a blank screen?

Oooops. Forgot to mention that I also changed my login on the main page to my screen name long before this whole issue came up....

But I'm curious, too. What kind of problems are folks having?

I could't get on until I deleted cookies, temp files, the site from my favorites AND finally in the IE tools for cleaning out history I checked delete all passwords and that finally worked. Prior to that the site kept kicking me back to the login. Seems there are other steps that have to be done (deleting WS from Favorites and deleting all passwords in IE).
