New Colors & Symbols on Each Thread??????

Postby Kronberg » Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:52 am

Is the blue circle a circle of love? Does the fire show up when someone hot posts? When the lights (colors) go out, is the post cold?

You might think I'd have figured it out myself by now, but nooooo. They must be listed somewhere. I give up looking.

What do each of these mean? :?

I don't know about the fire but it seems to me that the blue circle means there are posts that I haven't read yet in that Forum.
FIS died 9/1/08. It was her CHF, COPD, and Atrial Fibrulation that hospitalized her the last time. Both WS and FIS are women who retired in 1997 and had lived together almost 19 years.

Sunshine that is correct - and if you click on the blue circle it will take you to the first UNread post in that thread

the flame does indeed mark a 'hot topic' - I am not aware of the exact number of views in the exact time it takes the programming to mark a topic as 'hot'

Is there a way to tell if you have responded to that thread, like there used to be.???

There also used to be a (oh shoot, what's that called on a map so you know what the markings mean?), anyway one of those. Does one exist for this setup? I really did look and couldn't find it. That would be helpful to new people (and some old ones - like me)

Kat....I haven't found one yet, either. And at first it was tricky to recall that I had to click on the page icon to get to the last page of a long thread that had no new posts since I read it last.

It's a work in progress, and I am very grateful to those who are making it possible! :D

I know exactly what you mean. I wanted to use that word in my original post but I couldn't think of it either! Could it be the "legend" or "key"? Could we have one please?
