If my comment is more than just a couple lines, I type it offline in Word along with the thread's URL and then set it aside for a few minutes. I return to it in a few minutes to post if I still feel the same way.

Dave: Some time ago I had IE7 and think I was getting the problem with scrolling that you mentioned. I have changed to Firefox and have no problem any more.

Larry: Tonight in the thread that is first in Announcements, I didn't see any way to post either -- not that I wanted to do so. I did post before. So maybe something that was deliberately changed in the software changed that by mistake. As far as I am concerned, Questions is a good place for us to post while Moderators post announcements in Announcements.

I couldn't post a reply to the other site either so I will try and post it here:

I do not understand the logging in instructions, so add me to the list. I also feel like the new rules are going to keep me from being anonymous.....as in requiring me to be a paid member. How do I pay and remain anonymous? Also by using my email address for part of my name.......an email address I share.

I've loved being able to come here and mostly read, and when I wasn't too shy to post, I always felt welcomed and got much good advice. If I can't figure it all out, I too want to express my gratitude! This is a hard road to travel and it's been a comfort to have this site to come to.

If there is a way to stay anonymous and become a member........sign me up. If not......I'll have to regretfully sign off.

this too-would paying with a money order be an option?
I used my real name so shows up on my main screen that way, but don't think you would have to.

Maybe this will help those that are confused?

If you went to WSA.org and saw there was a forum, and you signed up for just the forum, and didn't get a log in for WSA.org, then you need to follow Larry/Rochards Instructions.

Basically, when I signed up, i put the same user name for WSA.org and then WSA.org/forums
That's why i have no problem right now.

Are y'all not wanting your credit cards and email address online?
The payment is secure and i don't believe it will be seen by anyone, to get your CC number, ect.

You choose your username, and then you choose the email address to be associated for the site, where you will receive the WSA Member Minute, and any Forum correspondence.

If you only singed up on WSA.org/Forum, then go to WSA.org and sign up with the same username and password, and then you will be good to go with the new changes.

I hope this helped.

proudmommydebbie,
I thought in the logging in logging out thread of Richards, that he said we have to have a new name which includes the first letters of our email address.

If anyone can put my post (above)into that thread, I would appreciate it, I tried again this evening and there is still no reply for that thread.

I guess I'm just totally confused at this point....I'll keep reading and see if anything sinks in!

Thistoo:

Your anonymity is fully protected. The MEMBER log-in (only) requires that you log in (not post) using your email address. But I believe Richard can change your log in name in the member area also. Your email address is never seen by anyone. When you pay an annual fee, your name and address is not released to any other members, nor posted for anyone to see.

Once again, if you have questions concerning the operation of the forums/web site, send an email to Forumadmin@wellspouse.org

Just wanted to add to Larry's post; when you write to Forumadmin, you are writing to our very own Richard A. Not outsourced. The Richard we all know and love. So we can feel reassured.

I just wanted to add, when I 1st saw the new login instructions my head hurt  , but under the tutelage of Richard and some rereading instructions slooowly I did it....not being a computer geek I feel like I should get a major award for this accomplishment :D :!: .......I'll be on the lookout for it ;)

Seriously, many thanks for your diligence and giving me back my forum name, Richard.
