I'm sorry to say our chat line was disabled June 1 by Blast Chat.com. This was entirely unexpected; no notice was sent.
The Blast Chat site is not currently available; and also, there is a major renovation of the WSA site in preparation. Completion date for a new site which will be much more friendly to smartphones is scheduled for the end of June.
For these reasons, and in consultation with the web designer doing the renovation, it was decided not to upload the new version of Blast Chat on the current site, even if it becomes available...
Instead, there will be a new, easier-to-access site called FastCat Chat installed on the new WSA website, and it will be accessible from any part of the website.
I apologize to current chat users. For the time being, I hope you know you can use PMs (private messages) to talk to your chat friends, or start a new thread on the Forum. There are also of course outside chat programs such as Instant Message and so on that you can use to chat with WSA friends individually.

Re: Chat Line Disabled - WSA Website RenovationIt should be noted that the problem with the current chat room has nothing to do with our upgrade. that provider arbitrarily determined to pull its' current product to roll out a new replacement. Their portal is jammed with traffic or otherwise unusable at this point.
We could not and did not anticipate this so there was no way to advise anyone of this eventuality. I have not been notified of any interruption in the use of this forum while the new one is established. As we get closer to the switch over we will have further details. Be thankful the thornbushes have roses!
