FIS passed away on Aug. 27, 2012 from pneumonia as a result of end stage Parkinson's Disease. He was diagnosed in 1988,and was in a care home for 5 years.

FIS died 9/1/08. It was her CHF, COPD, and Atrial Fibrulation that hospitalized her the last time. Both WS and FIS are women who retired in 1997 and had lived together almost 19 years.

Please post more, try in the Help and Healing Forum, our most widely read area. My wife is currently undergoing an exacerbation - she has been fairly stable for two years (has lung volume reduction many years ago - uses 02 24/7 and has CHF) She has been hospitalized four times this year (got out July 30, readmitted August 2) and is now in LT rehab, I expect until the 1st. So I need you all to be here too, and I return your thanks, because we all lean on each other here. Larry Be thankful the thornbushes have roses!

WS 51. IS 56. Since 2000 a chain reaction of carpal tunnel...osteoarthritis (both knees, feet, hips)... Peripheral Neurothropy (ideopathic)...pain and more pain. Married 24 years. "Self Diagnosed WS 2012"
