This is a test to attempt to achieve the effect of indenting,
all 5 lines of a paragraph, by starting each line with 8 periods,
and applying font-colour white to these
periods.

........ 1st line of paragraph
........ 2nd line of paragraph
........ 3rd line of paragraph
........ 4th line of paragraph
........ 5th line of paragraph

Whiteout has its uses. In fact, you could put any characters in there and white them out.

For example:
