testing how to post here. I don't think that I will have any issue keeping under 60,000 characters so I should be just fine.

Hi Joe. Welcome to our family.
FIS died 9/1/08. It was her CHF, COPD, and Atrial Fibrulation that hospitalized her the last time. Both WS and FIS are women who retired in 1997 and had lived together almost 19 years.

header shows ten replies to this but I only see one. NO my view post is not working. can see headers but get a "no posts in that time frame" message if I try to look at anything in ANY forum older than 11/12.
on another page I got earlier today it showed all the old stuff as archived and locked.

One of the changes being made for the sake of forum performance is that older topics/threads/posts are being moved to an archive. So they will be search-able but you won't be able to resurrect a 3 year old post as it will be locked.

I'm no talking about really old stuff.
some of the stuff I was trying to look at was only 3 days old!
can't see anything is any forum if it's older than 11/12/10
that means posts I made only a couple of weeks ago about starting new groups, etc. will have to be redone.

This is a test user... it's really Richard. Purplecat, we're working on it.
When I click on "View your posts" for me I get 2,332 posts, and they obviously go all the way back to when I joined in 2003. It does not however, show the extract from the original post, as it used to, instead there's only the thread in which you posted, and you have to go in and find your post every time.

Does that happen for you?
