Hi... just joined yesterday. Took me a while to join any forum about this kind of thing, because that meant admitting this situation is real... again. After lots of regular colonoscopies and other -oscopies that all came back fine, including one in Oct 09, husband and best friend of 10 years diagnosed in Feb of this year with stage IV rectal cancer. (Feeling very bitter every time I see PSAs about getting colonoscopies... doesn't always help, but they don't tell you that.) He just finished first round of chemo and radiation, is totally wiped out by side effects. Still all very new, with our lives so recently turned upside down. Very, very tired and scared.
Great introduction, eh?
