Honoring Spousal Caregivers - A Capital Idea! Friday-Sunday October 19-21, Washington, D.C. Schedule of Events Travel & Hotel Details Rev. Final Registration Form Plan now to attend! We'll be staying just over the bridge from Georgetown, DC in Rosslyn at the Holiday Inn Rosslyn,1900 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington, VA 22209 News: Thanks to a grant from Genentech, we are able to offer half the usual registration fee -- just $100!  Just a five minute walk to Rosslyn Metro, and a 10 minute ride to Smithsonian Metro will get you to the National Mall and all its landmarks. We're going to squeeze a lot into this weekend: Friday afternoon workshops, an after-dinner Monuments by Moonlight bus tour for an overview of our capital's splendors, more workshops Saturday morning, and a buffet lunch immediately following so that everyone has the entire afternoon to explore the city. Save some energy for our Saturday night dance, entertainment and gift raffle! We'll have more workshops on Sunday morning after breakfast, and then say our goodbyes. If you have the time to spare, stick around and take a short hike on nearby Roosevelt Island led by a local former well spouse.  Our keynote speaker will be Diana Denholm, Ph.D., a Board-certified psychotherapist for thirty years and a former well spouse and the author of The Caregiving Wife's Handbook. She will also lead a workshop on Saturday, along with other professional and peer facilitators who will explore a range of relevant topics. Her latest article in Psychology Today is: The Caregiver's Handbook: caring for a loved one -- and yourself. We will also have special workshops just for former well spouses.
