The popularity of this relaxing, back-to-nature respite weekend has grown considerably in the first three years.  The large country home known as Weisel Hostel sleeps 18 and we had a waitlist. A few well spouses joined us for the day and dinner Saturday night.  

The weather was perfect, warm during the day and cool at night.  We enjoyed group dinners at Beckers and La Campagna.  Saturday we broke off and went in different directions.  Some went to the local flea market, a few visited a winery, others went to the Moravian Tile Works, one member took out a kayak, and some simply enjoyed the down time with books. 

It is amazing how strangers can come together under one roof on Friday, and leave as friends Sunday.
